ISTAC – International Survivors of Trafficking Advisory Council

This year, on 25th of January 2021, we had a honor to publish that Regina Lee Jones was selected to be one of 21 members in International Survivors of trafficking Advisory Council, ISTAC. “Recognizing the vital importance of reflecting the experience and knowledge of survivors in all endeavours to combat human trafficking, the OSCE Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights (ODIHR) has launched the International Survivors of Trafficking Advisory Council (ISTAC) to assist countries across the OSCE region increase and improve their anti-trafficking efforts.”

Launch of ISTAC is historical event as it is for the first time survivor leaders are recognized on such a global level. We have big hope that this will be the beginning of the new directions in work against human trafficking where voices of survivors are heard and acted on.
